SURPRISE, AZ -- Mike Maroth made his second official appearance of Spring Training on Sunday, picking up a win in Kansas City’s 13-3 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Maroth, who improved to 2-0 in the spring, worked two innings and allowed two runs on two hits.

The left-hander made his first appearance in the Cactus League last Thursday, working one inning and allowing one run on one hit. He was credited with the win in the Royals’ 6-5 victory over the Los Angeles Angels.
