A Hot Forecast! Maroth Visits The Weather Channel

June 22, 2007

From the pitcher’s mound at RFK Stadium, to a meetingwith Congressional leaders, to a tour the White House, and finally to Atlanta, Mike Maroth’s whirlwind week wrapped up with the lefty forecasting the weather Thursday on The Weather Channel’s nightly show Abrams and Bettes Beyond The Report.

“I have to admit, forecasting the weather (a childhood dream) was even better than the White House,” Maroth said.

Maroth began Thursday when he and wife Brooke visited his Career Sports & Entertainment, his representation agency in Atlanta.

Later that afternoon, Maroth and his family visited The Weather Channel studios in suburban Atlanta. Asked to kick off the first day of a summer by coming in and providing the weather report for the Tigers-Braves series in Atlanta, Maroth and his father-in-law Barry Bennichen spent over two hours on The Weather Channel campus, filming segments for not only Abrams and Bettes Beyond The Report, but also for Evening Edition.
