“Instruction with Mike Maroth has been the most positive experience I have had with my sons pitching development. We have literally been all over Central Florida looking for the best instruction and we have finally found that in Mike Maroth. My son's improvement has been dramatic. In just a few lessons his pitching mechanics were much smoother and his gains in velocity and control were almost immediate. My son made Varsity this year as a sophomore largely due to his ability to pitch, and we have Mike to thank for that. The experiences that Mike shares with young pitchers are invaluable. My son looks to Mike for advice from everything from how to approach hitters to how to mentally and physically prepare for a game. Mike shares his knowledge gained from his MLB career, and my son has confidence knowing he is learning exactly how the pro's do it. In addition to being an awesome coach, instructor and mentor, Mike is also simply one of the nicest and down to Earth people you will ever meet.”

“Mike is a former big league ball player, with an even bigger character, who we trust to work with our children. He is teaching them excellent physical skills as well as setting a wonderful example of sportsmanship and Christian values for the boys to emulate.”
“Mike began working with our son at the beginning of his sophomore year in Division 6A High School ball. Jordan was an accomplished left handed pitcher at all levels and had made the varsity team. Unfortunately, for the first time he found himself not playing and not the best pitcher on the team. It was through Mike Maroth that Jordan gained the confidence he needed, both physically and more importantly mentally to compete at the next level. Jordan is now a graduating senior who has earned a full baseball scholarship to a NCAA Division II South Region college team. His pitching record is 6-0 and he has 78 strike outs in 43 innings.
On a personal note my wife and I met Mike and his wife, Brooke at a charity function for Rock and Wrap It Up, where he was being honored as the "Humanitarian of the Year" for his work with the Detroit Tigers. He is a person of faith who treated our son the way we have done as parents. Mike has had a major impact on all our lives and we are truly grateful we decided to contact him to work with our son. If you decide to do the same we guarantee you will not be disappointed.”

“I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the patience you have shown with my two sons, Andy and Josh. In the short time my sons have been going to you they have gained a ton of confidence on the mound. Your patience and teachings have helped both my sons bring their pitching to a higher level. You have given them the confidence to pitch in tough situations. My sons have always believed they could pitch but now they take the mound with confidence and the desire to pitch in every situation. There was a time not too long ago that Andy would have had a difficult time finding the strike zone. With your help Andy stays around the strike zone regularly. The batters thank you for that as well. You have helped Josh learn to throw different pitches in different counts to a batter. Josh now has no problem and wants to throw his change up or breaking ball when he is down in the count. They both have taken on the challenges of pitching with a different attitude since taking lessons from you.
As a parent it has become more enjoyable to watch my sons pitch. All parents get a little anxious when their kids play a leader position such as pitcher. No parent wants their kids to struggle or fail to succeed. I can honestly say that you have made it much more relaxing to watch both my sons take the mound. Only time will tell how far baseball will take them, but your help has made it a lot more hopeful that both their pitching careers will go on for a long time.
Mike, it is a pleasure to find someone who is willing to dedicate his time and give back to young kids. You have changed your schedule to accommodate some of the lessons that we struggled to make because of our game schedules. I appreciate that. You communicate great with my sons and they look forward to every lesson.”

-Father of 12U son,
“My son and I are avid Tiger fans and watched Mike for several years and followed him to the Cardinals and beyond. When Mike retired and I found him doing pitching instruction it was without hesitation that my son should learn from someone that we and the baseball world already respected. Mike quickly found mechanic improvements that significantly increased velocity and confirmed the way breaking balls were being thrown to minimize arm stress. They continue working on ball rotation, release points and pressure on the ball that Mike passes on from his years of professional experience. The lessons are fun and encouraging.”
