I personally want to thank each one of you for your continued support throughout my career in baseball. Many of you followed my career since the minor leagues and with the Tigers and Cardinals! It is each of you that motivate me to be the best player I could be on and off the field. I struggled through some adversity throughout my career, but the support and encouragement that I received from fans everywhere has helped me through it. 

I was thankful everyday for the opportunity to put on my uniform and do exactly what I dreamed I would do as a kid. It wouldn't have been nearly as much fun if it were not for the fans who share the love and passion for this great game.
